Exhibit 3.5—Canada’s network of marine protected areas will be based on 13 bioregions identified by Fisheries and Oceans Canada

This map locates Canada’s 13 bioregions, which are as follows:

West: Strait of Georgia, Southern Shelf, Offshore Pacific, and Northern Shelf.

North: Arctic Basin, Western Arctic, Arctic Archipelago, Eastern Arctic, and Hudson Bay Complex.

Central: Great Lakes (Canadian side).

East: Newfoundland–Labrador Shelves, Gulf of St. Lawrence, and Scotian Shelf.
