Speaking Invitations

The Auditor General welcomes invitations to speak to Canadian organizations, but is able to accept only a limited number of speaking engagements each year. Please see Speaking Invitations for more details.

Staff Directory

The auto-attendant is a direct line that allows callers to bypass our message centre attendants. The direct number is 613-952-0213.

When the auto-answer message begins, dial the extension number of the person you are trying to reach before the end of the taped message. To use the electronic directory which allows you to look up an extension by name, press 27 for English and 28 for French.

The above procedures apply to day-time operations as well as after regular working hours (after 6:00 p.m.).

Complaints and allegations about audits

The Office of the Auditor General has developed a mechanism for accepting complaints or allegations related to the failure of the Office to perform an audit in compliance with professional standards, regulatory and/or legal requirements, and the Office’s audit quality control systems.

It is important to note that this complaint mechanism is designed to deal exclusively with the above-noted failures and is not a means to question and/or challenge audit results and findings or the professional judgment underlying them.
